BRANDING
In 2016, I co-founded Talent Maker City, a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing space, tools, training, and support for curious minds of all ages. During our bootstrap phase with zero initial funding, my background in graphic design, motion, video, and storytelling emerged as our most powerful asset. I operated on a simple principle: if we look like we belong, then people will believe in our capability and vision. This drove me to personally create all branding, design, marketing, and instructional content for the organization.
Today, the organization continues to serve as a vital community resource and stands as one of my proudest professional achievements.

DIY PAPER AIRPLANES
One of the first things kids learn to make is a paper airplane. That's why it's in the logo. For events at which there will be lots of kids, this step-by-step printed guide can, itself, be folded into a paper airplane and make imaginations soar.

WE SURVIVED!
During the COVID pandemic, our fledgling nonprofit Talent Maker City faced an existential threat. While we managed to maintain operations throughout the COVID crisis, we emerged financially vulnerable. Then, in September 2020, disaster struck again when Talent, Oregon was ravaged by wildfires that left many community members with nothing.
This video series serves dual purposes: expressing profound gratitude to those who sustained our organization through these consecutive crises, while thoughtfully inviting those with means to contribute financially to our recovery and community rebuilding efforts. The narratives balance acknowledgment of hardship with a clear vision for resilience and renewal.
