BRANDING
In 2016, I co-founded Talent Maker City, a community-based nonprofit organization with a mission to provide the space, tools, training, and support to curious minds of all ages. With no initial funding during startup, my background in graphic design, motion, video, and storytelling was one of our strongest assets. Believing that if we look like we belong then people might believe we knew what we were doing, I created all branding, design, marketing, and instruction content for the organization.
It worked. Today, the organization remains a valuable community resource and one of my proudest achievements.

DIY PAPER AIRPLANES
One of the first things kids learn to make is a paper airplane. That's why it's in the logo. For events at which there will be lots of kids, this step-by-step printed guide can, itself, be folded into a paper airplane and make imaginations soar.
WE SURVIVED – THANKS!
As a start-up nonprofit, COVID could have been a death knell for Talent Maker City. While we managed to keep the doors open throughout the pandemic, we were in a tough financial position coming out of it. To make matters worse, Talent, Oregon suffered a devastating wild fire in September of 2020, in which many families lost everything.
This series of videos were produced to both thank those who had supported the organization through COVID and the fire and a call to action for those in a position to contribute financially.
